The REAL Christmas Elves

Santa couldn’t do it without us!
Proof that we can do more than cuddle or blog

My FIRST Christmas post (and my first sort-of reblog)

Mom found this video and said I could use it in my first Christmas post.  It was originally posted by Xena on her Black Butterfly blog with the following introduction:

I never get enough of this video. It’s produced by Fresh Pets.

The music is festive, but really loud,
so you might want to lower the volume on your speakers
before you click on the little triangle thing in the middle.

All we want for Christmas

And if you liked THAT one, take a look at what all dogs everywhere really want for Christmas this year: DINNER!

There’s a “behind the scenes” video where I found out that every one of the dogs you’ll see are rescue dogs – except for the cat, of course, who also came from the shelter.

God Bless Us, every one

I know that four legs aren’t great with sending Christmas cards, so we don’t get very many sent to us.  SO, if you write a Christmas post, leave me a link in a comment to count as your Merry Christmas card especially for me – and my Mom, of course.

Merry Christmas and Happy all the other Holidays to ALL of you.

Woof!

    • Thanks for visiting and taking the time to give them a look and let me know you did. I’m such a fast reader, I don’t generally prefer videos on blogs – but I’ve made a few exceptions here on my own – and when I ran across these I had to share. Tink wants me to add, “AND they help animals who have been abandoned!”

My December/Christmas articles aren’t really “on topic” here – lol – but they are fun to do, and these certainly seemed like the essence of Christmas to me!

    • My blogging pup thanks you. We can all use a laugh at Christmas – and I love the idea that homeless pets benefit.

Your peace graphic was perfect. I added it to the bottom of my Christmas links post [We ALL Wish You a Merry Christmas], with a link to your homepage. If you’ll jump over and leave a link to the article where it is posted, I’ll edit it to point directly there.

I try to be “politically” aware, if not exactly “correct” – but Merry Christmas is my heart’s wish for the world.

It most certainly does NOT mean that I don’t wish a Happy [other types of winter] Holidays to those who prefer that expression, but I’ve never taken kindly to attempts to muzzle — me or anyone!

MERRY CHRISTMAS – especially to your and yours.

      • I have had such a problem with my net crash crash crashing that getting over to leave any kind of comment has been torture. Just where we live. Anyway, hopefully the signal is better again. I swear the dudes never chewed the wiring.. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Hope it is the best xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

        • I wasn’t concerned, but I’m sorry to hear that your ‘net is giving you fits.

My ‘net tends to go down – or slow to an absolute crawl – shortly before 2am here (the time when I’m rushing to finish ‘net stuff so I can change into my jammies, snuggle with my puppy, and put us both to BED!). I also run into more WordPress snafus at that time every nite too.

Technology! Can’t live without it, can’t stomp it into shards – and we’ll never get the WordPress Gremlins to test before release. Fa la la la la!

Here ’tis, my friend: Christmas My Way

In the future, the easiest way is to copy the entire address of the post (once it’s published, like the public sees it) then paste it into your comment. Then the actual address shows up vs the name of the article, as I’ve done it here.

    • Thanks, Helen. Tink did a pretty jolly job on this one.

It’s crazy how people come up with ideas like this – and then actually carry them out! Not only that, they film them and get it together to post them on YouTube. The background video for number 2 had me shaking my head in incredulous admiration.

I hope you are having a lovely holiday season. Thanks for reading Tink’s post.
